Where the Marc Jacobs bag offer stands in 2026
Named families, not one wall of leather, is how the US site is built. Across The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, The Scene, Crossbody Bags, Mini Bags, Shoulder Bags and Totes, the navigation holds 312 styles in all. Ownership changed on 1 September 2026, when WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group bought the brand from LVMH, with pink marc jacobs tote bag Marc Jacobs continuing as Founder and Creative Director. The site labels every price “SALE PRICE,” including full-price stock, which is one quirk to remember, because a bag is only truly reduced when a “REGULAR PRICE” shows beside it. As of September 2026, all figures here are US dollars on marcjacobs.com in the US, and prices swing by country and change without notice. Many shoppers search “marc jacob,” but the label is Marc Jacobs, plural.
The Tote Bag
Drawn from archival designs, the flagship family launched in 2019, and it spans 105 styles now. The brand credits Jacobs with the framing line “No more Birkins, only Tote Bags”, which tells you the positioning. Rounded top handles and the name in oversized block letters finish a wide rectangle, debossed on leather and closed by a top zip. One interior zip pocket and two slip pockets are fitted inside The Canvas Medium, which measures 13in by 6in by 11in in cotton canvas. Look at the straps, because Crossbody, Small and Medium include a removable adjustable webbing strap while the Canvas Large does not. Canvas lands at about $150, $178, $198 and $228 by size, jacquard at about $325 and $350, and full-grain leather at about $398, $498 and $598. Students and commuters land here first, because it is the cheapest route to a recognizable marc jacobs handbag.
The Snapshot
Most people picture this bag when they hear the name, and the family runs to thirty styles. Conceived in a Parisian studio according to the brand, it was shaped after a camera bag and debuted on the runway. At 7in by 2in by 4in it is small and boxy, showing tricolor colorblocking and the signature double-J hardware. Saffiano leather, a faille lining, a dual top zipper rather than a flap and a removable webbing strap with a 27in drop set out the build. The core band runs about $325 to $328, taking in the Snapshot DTM and the Colorblock Chain Snapshot, while the Vintage Floral version and Snapshot E/W Shoulder Bag sit near $358. For anyone who carries a phone, cards and a lipstick and wants the bag noticed, this suits.
The Scene
No family is newer to its own place in the navigation than The Scene, which holds 70 styles. Small, Medium and Large Shoulder Bags, two Buckets, a Convertible Mini, a Chain Mini and a Wallet on Chain make this a group rather than a shape. Materials stretch to leather, crinkle leather, suede and denim, the widest spread of any line here. These are not top-handle bags: carry is on the shoulder, or on a slim metal chain for the chain versions. The Scene Convertible Mini Bag opens the pricing near $198, with the Scene Wallet on Chain near $228. Past the Scene Convertible Mini Bag and the Scene Wallet on Chain, prices reach $298 for the Scene Small Shoulder Bag and $358 for the Scene Small Bucket, with a ceiling near $698 for the Scene Large Shoulder Bag. Softer and far less logo-forward than the Tote is the appeal for the buyer this suits.
The Sack Bag
The Sack Bag first showed on the 2022 runway as what the brand calls a slouchy throw-over-your-shoulder silhouette in premium leather. Rather than holding a rectangle, it slumps against the body. The Belted Sack Bag serves as the reference version in full-grain leather, with a magnetic closure, an adjustable belted shoulder strap, an internal zip pocket, cotton twill lining and a 12in handle drop. The run starts at The Micro Crossbody Sack Bag near $198, passes the Small Belted Sack Bag around $298 and reaches $498. Bow-detailed denim and nylon arrive seasonally at roughly $258 and $358, plus leopard nylon and canvas cargo versions near $398. Quicker than a zip and less secure, a magnet suits people who hate hardware fuss better than it suits crowded transit.
The Dual Bag
The thinnest current shelf presence here goes to The Dual Bag, which also has the most public origin story. Dua Lipa paired it with her look at the 2024 Met Gala after-party, where the brand says it first drew attention after its Fall ’23 runway debut. After the Spring 2025 campaign with Emily Ratajkowski, it returned in Summer 2025 led by Doja Cat. As of 29 September 2026 it appears mainly in the MARCDOWN sale section rather than the main assortment. Both prices display in this rare case, with The Large Dual Bag listed around $297 against a regular price of about $495, which is unusual. If the campaign imagery sold you and you will buy from what remains rather than a full color run, it works.
Structured totes: Cristina, Dakota, Babe and Pop J Marc
The site keeps a Totes category of 47 structured styles and a Shoulder Bags category of 80 apart from The Tote Bag. Rather than the soft canvas carryalls, these are the leather bags that hold their shape. Filed under Shoulder Bags because it gets carried that way, The Grommet Charm Cristina Tote sits around $658, with The Cristina Tote near $398. At about $798 sits The Dakota Tote, the dearest bag in the Totes category. Babe covers three points from the Babe Mini Vanity Bag near $178 up through the Babe Mini Top Handle at roughly $298 and on to the Babe City Tote around $598. For a working week, the marc jacobs bags here are the Pop J Marc Work Tote at about $398 and, near $298, a Small Work Tote.
Heaven by Marc Jacobs
Ava Nirui art-directed Heaven from the start, the youth-facing sub-label introduced in September 2020. As the brand tells it, it is a gateway into the sprawling and enigmatic omniverse of Marc Jacobs subversion. Across its 153 products, tees begin from around $65, with bags between roughly $150 and $250. The cheapest way into a marc jacobs bag outside the canvas Tote is accordingly Heaven. Among current stock is a David Rappeneau Shoulder Bag near $175, an artist name carried on the product itself. With no successor named after Nirui’s exit, reported in January 2026, Heaven’s creative direction now is not brand-confirmed.
The families at a glance
In the table, each current family stands against its shape, its materials and the US price band shown on 29 September 2026. The bands describe ranges across sizes and fabrications, not one price for one bag. The bottom belongs to canvas and Heaven, and the top to leather and the largest Scene styles. Material drives price more than size does: the same medium Tote is about $198 in canvas and $498 in leather. The Dual Bag row records a markdown, not a standing price. Every figure is US dollars on marcjacobs.com, varies by country and currency, and changes without notice.

Lines people search for that the US site no longer sells
Disappointment on the US site is where all four of these constantly searched names end up. A search returns jewelry, sunglasses, shoes, ready-to-wear and the Pop J Marc Work Tote instead, because the J Marc shoulder bag and saddle bag are not currently sold. Only a handful of Canal St apparel items come back from a search for The St. Marc, which is not in the current assortment either. The Duffle is absent as well, with no duffle bag in the results for that term. A Monogram tote completes the four, because the current canvas totes are plain cotton canvas with block-letter branding. Archive names, not current marc jacobs bag lines, is what all four are, so treat sellers offering them as new stock with suspicion. Items bought from an authorized vendor, with proof of purchase, are the only ones the one-year manufacturing-defect warranty covers.
